The Fancy Basement & The Jeap

This past weekend I went to visit my oldest brother's area, which is a 12 hour drive away. You guessed it. We drove. Now some of you might be thinking that it wasn't that big of a deal and that I could have slept half the time. Obviously you don't have a brother like mine. He likes to talk...a lot. On the way there, I didnt sleep. At all. Luckily I knew what was coming so i brought nine books with me, I read one on the way. Once we got there it was pretty late and so we went to the peoples house that we were going to stay at. And Oh. My. Gosh. they had such a beautiful home, you could tell it was super expensive.

We were staying in the basement. And the basement was no exception either. I swear, it was the most fanciest looking basement I have ever seen! It had crown molding in three different parts of the wall(top, bottom, and middle) through the whole thing. And everything else was nice too, it even had a full kitchen!!(No microwave...figures lol) It was kind of like an apartment, except we had to sleep on a pull out couch and a airo bed(the bedroom was currently being used for storage). They set out food for us to eat for like breakfast and stuff, but the weird part was that they put out instant oatmeal but they didn't have a microwave. Yah.
I would've demolished the Frosted Flakes they had there, but I'm alergic to milk so that was messed up. And so I ate raison cinamon toast every morning. I'm not sure if its normal in the south, but they never invited us upstairs for a meal or asked if we were hungry or just even to hang out. So we had to eat take out. A lot.

We hung out with my brother and his friends a lot though, which was fun except for the non-stop teasing. You would think after teasing me for 15 years straight, he would get bored of it. I guess not. I got to ride in a Jeap though! It was fun cuz it was my first time ever, but i had to ride in the middle in the back, keep in mind, theres no seatbelt. Let me explain. We were on our way to a restraunt, and my brother road in the jeap with my brothers friends. Which was fine. When we were leaving, I asked if I could ride in the Jeap this time. They said I could. But. My brother decided that he wanted to ride a second time even though there is only four seats(It was my oldest brother, and his two friends already riding in there). So he got my mom to make us ride in the Jeap. I thought that was kind of unfair sinse i didnt get to ride on the seat with the seatbelt. And so there I am, clutching the seat with my hands and knees and hoping that nothing goes wrong so I don't fly out of there. To say the least, it could have gone better.

On Sunday, we were invited to a gathering at someones backyard, and there was 3 girls there around my age(younger). After a while we ended up talking and playing ping pong. When one of the girls asked how old I was I told them I was 15 and she was shocked to say the least lol. She thought I was 12 or 13. Then she asked how old my brother was (the annoying one) and I told them (hes two years older than me). And she said "What's wrong with y'all??!!!" I never got that reaction before lol. Earlier that day when someone asked how old I was, and told them, they said "You look good for your age" I was sooo happy with that one!
